沃尔夫森历史奖（Wolfson History Prize） 已有52年的历史。多年来，该奖项已向130多名历史学家颁发了超过150万英镑（折合人民币1410.83万元）奖金。入围作者每人可获得5000英镑（折合人民币4.70万元）奖金，最终获奖者的奖金为50000英镑（折合人民币47.03万元）。

当地时间9月23日，沃尔夫森历史奖发布了2024年的入围名单，共6部作品。它们是乔伊·查特吉（Joya Chatterji）的《阳光下的阴影：20世纪的南亚》（Shadows at Noon:The South Asian Twentieth Century ）、南迪尼·达斯（Nandini Das）的《印度莫卧儿帝国的兴衰史》（Courting India:England,Mughal India and the Origins of Empire）、尼古拉斯·拉德伯恩（Nicholas Ra dburn）的《商业与跨大西洋奴隶贸易的崛起》（Traders in Men : Merchants and the Transformation of the Transatlantic Slave Trade）、安德鲁·西顿（Andrew Seaton）的《英国国家医疗服务体系的历史》（Our NHS:A History of Britain’s Best-Loved Institution）、强尼·斯坦伯格（Jonny Steinberg）的《温妮和纳尔逊：婚姻的肖像》（Winnie &Nelson:Portrait of a Marriage）、弗兰克·特伦特曼（Frank Trentmann）的《走出黑暗：1942-2022年的德国人》（Out of the Darkness:The Germans,1942-2022）。
